Respect and Pride

OFSTED INSPECTION IN SCHOOL TUESDAY 14TH MAY 2024 AND WEDNESDAY 15TH MAY 2024

About Us  »  Headteacher's Welcome

I have been the Headteacher at Stanningley Primary School since September 2017 and I am proud to say that this is a place where individuals are valued and encouraged to achieve their personal best. Children are supported in becoming confident and independent young people, who thrive on challenge, and are motivated to learn. All schools have their own distinctive ‘feel’ which makes each one unique. We believe that the ‘special feel’ at Stanningley Primary comes from our nurturing, supportive and friendly environment.

I am extremely proud to lead a team that is fully committed to children's well-being, achieving high standards and providing the very best opportunities for all in our care. Staff, supported by governors, work hard to deliver a rich and challenging curriculum; to prepare children for future education; and to help them acquire the skills and resilience needed to embrace the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.

The school was last inspected in November 2018 and we were judged to be good in all areas.

“There is a tangible sense of purpose, energy and uncompromising ambition to see all pupils flourish, both academically and in their all-round development.”

“There is a tangible thread running through all aspects of school that ensures that pupils are valued, safe and that their all-round development is nurtured. This is valued highly by governors” Ofsted November 2018
